On 5-30-25, the Washington Post penned a commentary on the several recent court cases that appear to be giving Trump a bloody nose, and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Study on the words that come from Trump's pitiful mouth driven by his crass mind. But then, Trump will never have to worry about a future President plagiarizing any of his speeches. And his quotes will always mock him.

On 5-26-25, the Washington Post penned an article about still another off again planned tariff for the European Union (EU) being delayed for a while, and the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

These "playacting" moves by the President are causing real fluctuations of our stock market. Those fluctuations are money-makers for people in the political realm of knowing Trump's mind jumps ahead of their public release. Those kinds of possibilities used to be closely monitored by federal agencies because insider trading information makes a mockery of the level playing field that should exist in a market being used for public participation. But the mockery is our newly installed President has eliminated any chance for the ethics of that public market having an enforced level playing field. That's right, this President has totally removed any existing enforcement concern for "Ethics in Government". And that really was (and now is) his professed intent for getting elected. His design of destroying all confidence in a representative government is the cause, and we're the effect.

On 5-23-25, a Washington Post article reported on Trump's latest tariff raise to European Union countries getting bland reactions, and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

The reaction by foreign governments to the economic warfare of the United States President is akin to poking fun at the playground bullies' silly behavior. Trump deserves to be treated like the infantile character he is.

On 5-23-25, the Washington Post penned an article that the President had ordered the Secretary of Homeland Security to nullify Harvard University's ability to attract and enroll students from foreign nations, and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Total abuse of Presidential powers, no such mandate was represented by the electoral vote. Harvard resistance is essential to demonstrate respect for the US being a nation of laws, not tyranny.

On 5-14-25, the Washington Post penned an article on the chaos Trump is creating for our country's reputation and economic wellness, and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

It happened in his first term and damned if it isn't happening again in his pitiful 2nd term. Trump is intent on finding anyway possible to ruin our country, turn on the hate to make us all divided against each other, while using the office to take monetary advantage of beneficial treatment or the power of the office to enhance his personal business interests. He's played us for the fool...again.

On 5-4-25, the Washington Post penned an article about the comments judges are making about the competiency of lawyers representing suits brought at the federal level for actions seeking relief from Presidential Executive Orders, and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Hear the words of the Federal judiciary about the incompetence of the Trump administrations legal represententives performance:

“I expect more from the government than this kind of very shoddy work,”

“This court takes clear offense to respondents wasting judicial resources.”

“This exchange does not reflect the diligence the Court expects from any litigant,” let alone the United States Department of Justice.”

“Defendants (the government) have failed to respond in good faith, and their refusal to do so can only be viewed as willful and intentional noncompliance,”

“a shocking abuse of power.”

Howell (the Judge) criticized those remarks (in a guidance memo to federal agencies from Attorney General Pam Bondi & Director for Office of Management & Budget Russell Vought) as a temper tantrum from top officials and said they were “worthy of a 3-year-old.”
