On 6-29-26, the Washington Post penned the article: "Trump’s vision for White House park: 47 trees to mark his 47th presidency", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

How conveniently President Trump taps the US Treasury for the monies to fund his self-serving dalliances, (too numerous to list here). None of which has any approval from naught but Trump, his bootlicking staff and the strap hangers of his congressional cult, (names withheld to protect the guilty).

On 6-22-26, the Washington Post penned still another story on the failure of the President's Reflective Pond project and caused the following response from the Enlightened Prisoner.

The real story here is that a deraigned leader of the Executive Branch of OUR government is more occupied with throwing out blame excuses for failure of an insignificant pet project than repairing the significant damage he's inflicted on our national tranquility, our equality of justice, and the stature of our reputation as a nation on the eve of our 250th year of existence.

On 6-20-26, the Enlightened Prisoner was moved to offer the following thought on the emerging strategy on Trump's mind, (the part that's smart enough to best serve his own interests).

I'm beginning to see some changes in the Trump attitude that I'm predicting have a motive.  He's never been one to pass off the "I'm in charge" image so latest publicity steps are giving more notice to the use of VP Vance and Marco Rubio being involved in governmental business.  And both are mentioned as the probably next in line Presidential candidates for the Presidential office he realizes is no longer in his sight due to age and health.

To retain their loyalty in the event he has that personal agenda enough in place that he can use the health excuse for a sympathetic resignation from office, then expect from them that which can't be had from Congress.  A pardon from the crimes committed while in office.  Mark my words.  It's the way a political mind would see to his pathic performance as President.

On 6-16-26, the Washington Post penned the article: "Records reveal $600M estimate for Trump’s ballroom project, with half from taxpayers", and on the date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Well, it's just my personal opinion but, when the chief executive officer for the Executive Branch of government creates and expresses publicly a lie, hiding the fact that he has tacitly approved the expenditure of public monies after assuring the public he would not, a line was crossed that makes the action a crime that satisfies cause for impeachment.

On 6-10-26, the Washington Post penned the article, "ICE detention camp endangered migrants and wasted millions, watchdog finds", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

And those elected Congressional representative members of the Republican Party who continue with keeping mouths shut and sit on their hands while their unhinged POTUS continues to desecrate the reputation of their Constituted Republic and continues emptying the country's treasury of their hard-earned tax dollars. Beginning to see the big picture yet citizens?
