Enlightened
Prisoner (1-17-21 Comment) “Seek the truth, it may not set you free, but
it ‘ll make you a more enlightened prisoner.”
So, the conservative arm of the Republican
party came to Washington in order to protest what they have been led to believe
was our country’s faulted election? And, their fearless leader stood up
to paste his victimized image on their misled intellects with inflamed rhetoric?
While all the time urging, nay, in fact
demanding their action on the very representative body that had in the days
before come to their informed senses and with a majority expressed that all
claims of fault in that election were naught?
But did that fearless
leader or his chronic equally misleading cronies within or outside that “MOB”,
(nay, they earn no better description), seek a redress of grievances in
democratic fashion? No, they allowed the MOB to proceed, (emotionally charged),
with their fearless leader’s urging, not for civil dialog, but to wrack havoc
and cause physical damage. And, as has
been evidenced, seek out and harm those of their elected own. And recall also, there was no provoking
action by those protecting the Capital, only the fury they carried themselves
from the induced urging, but absence, of their fearless leader
And the fearless leader? Hunkered down
in protected fashion gleefully watching the televised chaos in the manner of
his practiced incompetence, by doing, yes, nothing. The chronic symbol of his regime’s plans of
action. Enjoying his coward’s revenge.
But fearless leader cannot overcome that the
democratic and legal vote of the electorate has dismissed his faulted
administration for a second time by a majority of votes. That necklace of shame he must now wear
forever. His dismissal vote attributed
to a portion of those electing citizens that he irresponsibly dismisses as not
worthy of his governance.
As we watch him, dismissed and disgraced, literally
sneak out of his Capital residence and the transition protocols of defeat, to
an enclave and comfort zone of his adoring ilk, we again remind ourselves why
his company is no longer of interest to us.
The constant lies he told of himself and
others? The appointments of unqualified
and incompetent folks who abused their power and authority of office as he did
himself? The many firings of those in
governance who spoke up with honesty and loyally to the concepts of rightful
governance? Our loss of respect and
stature with allied nations due to arrogant Americanism? An explosion of our national debt due to his
favoritism towards the already wealthy while withholding whatever could be
found to punish those seeking a place at the table of United States opportunity
and abundance?
Or, as rightfully claimed by an incoming
administration. His total failure to
first acknowledge and then address the issues of leadership needed to combat a
virus that maimed and killed his citizens because he could not identify any way
to benefit or win an advantage for his selfish political interests.
And, to further condemn character and
reputation, this twice impeached man was guilty of seeking and actively
engaging all means, foreign and domestic, of conspirators to speak not only to
his false character or qualifications, but to beg their condemnation for all
who would seek to oppose him.
Shirk away Donald John Trump, for you have
embarrassed the underlying decency and competency of our Republic and deserve
what you have wrought. A historical
place in our Country’s shame, along with the Civil War, the treatment of our indigenous
Indian population, our prolonged rejections for the rights and privileges for
our country’s ethnic citizens, immigrants and those less fortunate, or different
in looks or religion then ourselves.
For it is, that the honor and duty of mankind
is not how they regale themselves, but how they treat their duty to others.
